Favorite Anime?

What is your all-time favorite anime series/ova/movie/w.e ??

I absolutely LOVE Elfen Lied and I recommend it to everyone I know who enjoys animation.
It has a relatively deep story, and a plot that pulls you in. The characters are rich and dynamic and the artwork is amazing.
Many people may be turned off by the amount of blood and gore though, so I make sure to prepare them for that before hand.
